Unless the LORD builds....

Something I've been thinking about these last few days is Psalm 127 which reads, "Unless the LORD builds the house its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city the watchmen stand guard in vain. In vain you rise up early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat - for he grants sleep to those he loves."
It comes down to God being the one to provide what we need. We can do our own thing trying to find food, job, happiness, love, peace, shelter...you name it, but unless it comes from the Lord it's not the quality that it could be, that God would desire or give if we trust and allow his blessing in our lives.
